The Key Laboratory of Low-grade Energy Utilization Technologies and Systems of Ministry of Education of our school won the Best Paper Award of the 12th Asian Thermal Properties Conference

The 12th Asian Thermophysical Properties Conference was held in Xi'an from October 2nd to 6th, 2019. As the highest level of thermophysical properties in Asia, it is one of the world's three largest thermophysical conferences and is held every three years. The conference was hosted by Xi'an Jiaotong University. The conference attracted more than 200 thermophysical researchers from all over the world.

Researcher Liu Lang from the research group of Professor Liu Chao of the School of Energy and Power Engineering, associate professor Li Qibin and PhD student Cai Shouyin attended the conference. In addition, among nearly 200 published papers, the paper "Molecular characteristics of [BMIM][BF4] ionic liquids and water mixture on the Pt surface" by associate professor Li Qibin and professor Liu Chao was awarded. The thermophysical properties of the interface ionic liquid and its mixed working fluid with water have been systematically studied. The research results have been highly praised and won the Best Paper Award of this conference. This award demonstrated the years of achievements and accumulation of the team of professor Liu Chao of Chongqing University in thermodynamics, and has been highly recognized by colleagues at home and abroad.
