Dr. Sun Kuan was selected as an excellent reviewer of Nano Energy

Dr. Sun Kuan from the School of Energy and Power Engineering of Chongqing University was awarded the honorary title of "Excellent Reviewer" of Nano Energy. The honorary title of "Outstanding Reviewer" is based on the number of paper reviewed by the reviewer in the past two years, and the top 10% of reviewers are selected to award this title.

Nano Energy, founded in 2012, is the top journal published by the Dutch Elsevier Technology Publishing Group in the field of energy materials. The latest impact factor of 2017-2018 is 13.120. It is a TOP journal located in Area 1 of Engineering and Technology in the SCI zoning table of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. The theme of the journal is "Application of Nanomaterials or Nanodevices in Energy-related Fields", which mainly includes experimental and theoretical research work. The published articles covers various types of batteries, hydrogen preparation and storage, light-emitting diodes, energy-efficient optical devices, solar cells, nano-piezoelectric devices, self-driving nano-machines and nano-systems, supercapacitors, thermoelectric materials, energy-related policies and prospects. The publication editor of《Nano Energy》and the current chief editor of the journal is Academician Wang Zhonglin from Georgia Institute of Technology.

Sun Kuan, Distinguished researcher of the Hundred Talents Program, School of Energy and Power Engineering, Chongqing University, Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering, National University of Singapore (NUS), Postdoctoral Fellow, University of Melbourne, Australia (UniMelb), Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Germany (KIT) ), a visiting scholar at the Max Planck Institute of Polymer Research (MPIP). He has published more than 40 SCI papers in journals such as Nature Communications, Advanced Materials, Energy & Environmental Science, and Nano Energy. The papers have been cited more than 2,600 times, and there are 11 highly cited papers by ESI.  He is served as an executive editorial board member of the Material Review and a reviewer of 23 SCI journals including Nano Energy, Advanced Materials, Small, Journal of Materials Chemistry A, and Scientific Reports.
