2009年获重庆大学动力工程及工程热物理专业工学博士学位。2016年受国家留学基金委的资助作为访问学者赴加拿大多伦多大学进行为期一年的访问研究。作为项目负责人承担了国家自然科学基金青年基金1项、面上项目2项、国防科技173计划技术领域基金项目1项、省部级项目4项、中央高校基本科研业务费2项,并参与国家自然科学基金多项。在国内外学术刊物及学术会议上发表研究论文110余篇,其中SCI收录70余篇、EI收录20余篇,合作申请发明专利30余项,已授权发明专利10余项。
入选首批重庆英才计划青年拔尖人才、重庆大学科研后备拔尖人才培育计划(青年人才)。国家自然科学基金评审专家、中国博士后科学基金评审专家;《Biosensors and Bioelectronics》优秀审稿人,《Renewable & Sustainable Energy Reviews》、《Journal of Power Sources》、《Applied Energy》、《Electrochimica Acta》、《International Journal of Hydrogen Energy》、《International Journal of Thermal Sciences》等20余国际期刊审稿人。
